The Oyster State: Edible Rhody Feature

It's no secret that Rhode Island oyster farms produce some of the finest oysters on the East Coast—dare we say, in the entire country. With that in mind, it's only fitting to think of our small state as "The Oyster State."

We’re thrilled to be featured in the Fall 2024 issue of Edible Rhody, in an article highlighting Rhode Island’s vibrant oyster scene and the upcoming Oyster Fest in Providence. Our state boasts a tight-knit community of dedicated oyster farmers who work hard to produce a local, sustainable food source, and we’re proud to be part of it.

Our Breachway Oysters reap the benefits of being grown in a salt pond, and offer a perfectly balanced briny-sweet flavor with a plump, medium-sized profile. Many have told us it’s their favorite oyster, so be sure to visit our raw bar at the festival this Saturday, October 4th, and taste for yourself!
