While we do believe that a perfect oyster needs no accoutrements to be enjoyed, sometimes nothing beats a cold oyster topped with a splash of mignonette. We’ve gathered three of our favorite mignonette recipes that are easy to whip up in a pinch and pair perfectly with our oysters. 

All the ingredients needed are listed, but feel free to experiment with the amounts based on your preference (some people love shallot, some prefer a little!) Simply whisk all the ingredients together in a small bowl and you’re ready to serve alongside your shucked oysters.

Hello oyster lovers! Did we ever think our oyster farm would have a blog? Not really, but here we are, making our first blog post. There have been many changes brewing within 401 Oyster Company over the past 6 months or so, and we’re very excited to share them with you.

The big news is that we’ve stepped up our game with a brand new logo and website, including an online shop where you can purchase oysters to be shipped directly to you overnight. Being able to get our oysters to folks in other states who crave a fresh, delicious oyster is a gamechanger for the business. We’re proud to be one of few Rhode Island oyster farms offering online shellfish orders!
